Hi there. Thinking of getting a G House at H Hill. Anybody have any views on whether it is worth the investment? Buy new or scramble around for a used one? Do you find yours worthwhile?
Many thanks Phil

there are almost always very cheap gh's on local trading sites if you can dismantle and take them away. They are great for cucumbers, this year tomatoes did as well outdoors but I'd say this was an exception. A normal wet summer doesn't favour outdoor growing. Gh plants will require regular watering though. Great for spring seedlings and early and late salads too. Pete

Agree with Pete, very worth while. But be sure you have level and solid foundations and that the greenhouse is firmly bolted to these. Hanging Hill is very windy and greenhouses have been known to be lifted and trashed by strong wind. Maren
